Is something wrong here?
Of course, that is a rhetorical question. Some of the problem is we have teachers that are ignorant or do not take the time to make sure that they do the job properly and to the highest standard. Due to teachers unions like the NEA, they cannot be fired therefore there is no motivation to maintain a high standard and for the most part they do not care. This is one of the problems that plague the educational system.
These are the People that Educate Our Children
On 30 April 2007, a food fight took place in the cafeteria at Markham
Intermediate School on Staten Island, N.Y. The Dean, Michael Levy, sent a letter to all
parents to announce that the entire eighth grade class would be punished for
the mess. The Dean declared that the fight in the "caferteria" was "unexcecpable" and that parents must sign the letter or their
children will be excluded from "all senior activates" such as the prom and the senior trip.
Principal of Markham Intermediate School, Emma Della Rocca, said the dean did not have her permission to send the letter, and she countermanded the collective punishment.
We can only hope that Principle Rocca made Dean Levy stay after school and take a remedial course in "Basic Letter Writing Skills" and "Spelling". But you be the judge, here is the letter.
Letter Written by Dean Michael Levy
This is a simple letter written by Dean Michael Levy. What grade would this letter earn? You would think that an educator would know how to spell these words contained within this letter, but as you can see, such is not the case. It is no wonder that high school graduates seem so uneducated in general. Look at the fine example of the teacher - and a Dean no less. How can you expect the students to be better educated than the teachers?
It is not like he really had to worry about spelling as this letter was written on a computer and one of the standard features of word processing software is the "Spell Check" feature. It actually does the thinking for you. Yet somehow, Dean Michael Levy, the educator of children, lacked the education necessary to write a simple letter. The other teachers were laughing at him, the students were laughing at him, and now you get to laugh at him.
Brilliant Woman Solves All of California's Problems
The following video is a direct result of the progress made in the last 50 years of education by those that have been in charge of education for the last 50 years.
How can anyone argue with logic like that? Here is a woman who sees how simple the world really is. She has all of the answers and we can thank the public school system for her ability to understand and find solutions to society's problems.
With their control of the education system, this is what Liberals have done to the youth of America. What else can we say?
